What's up buttercup?
A little something about the Dirty Heifer Soap Co.
A super fun combination of art, science and our dairy farm, our soap is one of a kind.
Lovingly named over drinks.
When my husband started saying my soaps were great, that was exciting for me. Dairy farmers are constantly dirty- barn, dirt, equipment, grease from the shop, you name it, it has come into the house to be washed off and it's kind of a big deal if homemade soap can beat out our old stand byes.
If you've only showered with store bought soap, you're going be be blown away with milk soap! Before I started making soap I rarely used bar of soap, I have very dry skin so soap always made it worse. This milk soap with its combination of oils is cleansing AND hydrating. Never greasy though, because my husband does not have dry skin and he can still use it and feels clean! It's sorta like magic....
I've had this idea of making soaps for so long. Then I had these beautiful bars and was at a cross roads, keep making these soaps and be a soap hoarder, or share with everyone?

Hi I'm Morgan!
Morgan; mom of 4 great kids, wife, Registered Nurse (School Nurse currently!), soap maker, coach... and many more various titles. Soap making has been something I've wanted to try for soooo long! I gifted myself the start up materials from soap making after graduating with my Bachelors in Nursing amidst being a school nurse during a pandemic in the fall of 2020. I felt like I earned it.
I knew before I started that I wanted to be something special, stand out a bit. Being a dairy farming family, it made sense to use our milk! There's lots of milk soap companies out there by not often COW'S milk soap, so here we are.
I love researching every recipe I make. You'll see I often add whole fruits, veggies, local herbs, homemade infused oils or unique additions, to nearly every bar. They're all either lightly or unscented so none of them are overwhelming. Many will be named after or inspired by the music I love listening to, places or things that peak my interest, or just because it sounds fun.
Life is way to crazy to take soap naming too seriously!
